Seaport - Soft Pastel Abstract

​I'm super excited to share my new series of pastel abstracts with you. These are inspired by the west coast where I live.

I've been to the Port of Oakland several times on our friend's Carver. We were able to see first-hand the backside of this busy port. Each visit was meant by huge cargo ships filled sky high with containers from China. We watched the giant cranes lift the cargo containers in the air maneuvering them with ease. We also watched as the cargo ships headed back home to China. . . they were empty.
